Nowadays, on the internet, you have your average Joe doing what every 'guru' and expert tells him or her to do. In the end, the only person that comes out on top is the expert themselves.

Yes, affiliate programs are an excellent way of making money on the internet, and I for one have profited tremendously from them. But think about this...

You're making money from this guy who has a website, and you might get a huge cut of the profits...maybe 75% per sale. Where, 25% goes back to the author. But how many other people do he/she have promoting their product?

So, he/she has many people promoting their site on their behalf, bringing them sales that they don't have to work for. They're making off like bandits off of your hard work.

Of course, that's how affiliate marketing works...and that's why product vendors implement these programs for their products online.

So, why aren't YOU creating your own system of viral marketing for your own products, websites and affiliate links?

With viral marketing, it can be set up for little or no money down, and the promotional value of it can be truly tremendous.

One of the easiest and most effective ways to use viral marketing, is of course the YouTube method. Create a spectacular or funny video, paste your link in it at the right times, and let your viewers pass it on to others.

You'd be amazed at what you can do with a viral video that has your website pasted on the screen during playback.

Of course, there are many other viral tactics you can use. Some cost money, but a majority of them do not. It's up to you to research these tactics, and implement the ones that you feel most comfortable actually doing.
